The Six Foot Track Weekend
The 1884 Six Foot Track is the Blue Mountain’s greatest heritage walk, spanning Jenolan Caves and Katoomba.
JUMP START has organised a wonderful 3 day weekend trip to this historical walk in the Blue Mountains. Meeting at Katoomba our trip is 4wd supported, fully catered, and has a two night stay in an eco-designed lodge (stylish cabins with bunk beds).

Itinerary
Friday
Meet at Explorers Tree, Katoomba at 8.30am.We will pack our day trip lunches (provided) there and be transported to the beginning of the walk from the Jenolan Caves end. There will be 2 starting points, so you can decide how much you would like to walk on the first day. All your baggage, and BYO wine/beer will be transported to the lodge once you have been dropped off.
Afternoon tea will be waiting for you on arrival at the eco-lodge at the Cox’s river.
The rest of the afternoon can be spent however you would like – reading, snoozing, chatting!!!
A three course dinner will be cooked for you in the evening, as you watch the sun go down.
Saturday
This day is free for you to do as you please. There are a number of walks you can do from the lodge, or you can swim in the beautiful big rock pools of the Cox’s River, or you could find a lovely secluded spot to relax – the day is yours! Breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner will be prepared for you.
Sunday
After a leisurely breakfast, we will start walking back out towards Katoomba. This is the most beautiful part of the walk as it goes through such a variety of landscapes. You will have a packed lunch to take with you, and the pace you walk is your choice. Your car will be waiting for you as soon as you come to the end of the 6ft track.
