How long have you been a client of JUMP START?

Almost 3 years

Why did you originally start?

I had been doing a Sunday training class with some mates and thought I needed to do more to regain my glory years when I used to be in the Army (many years ago)

What do you enjoy best about JUMP START?

Being outside, the quality and enthusiasm of all the instructors (particularly my current crop of regular instructors, Bec and Marcus), the variety of training, the friendly atmosphere, and Heidi’s determination to provide the best product in the market

What goals have you achieved?

I have lost about 10 cm around the waist, I feel a lot fitter, and I have been hounded off cheese as a sandwich filling by Heidi.

What types of sessions do you participate in?

Either single sessions or with one other person.

Is there anything in particular that has helped you reach your goals?

Being told by Heidi that being in excess of 100cm around the waist could be bad for my health. I had thought I was reasonably fit but I needed to do more.

What are your goals for the future?

Growing back into my older suits around the waist, and growing out of the jackets.

I would like to generally improve my strength hence my overly ambitious purchase of some heavy weights (which Heidi has not been able to find a home for at Jump Start….

Any advice for people thinking of starting a health and fitness program?

Just do it. It’s a great way to wind down from work (or prepare yourself for the day), and you are better for it health wise. Of course having a trainer and a programmed time makes it easier to not to skip out of exercise, especially on those wet cold nights… Of course it goes without saying that you should use Jump Start!
