How long have you been a client of JUMP START?

Coming up to 4 years

Why did you originally start?

Charlotte was 12 months old and I was feeling VERY unfit and wanted to get out and about and exercise.   We started Mums and Bubs and never looked back.

What do you enjoy best about JUMP START?

Everything – it is a very friendly, non pressure environment to exercise in, but also hard work and rewarding.  The trainers are all great and always have a positive outlook……..while pushing you that bit further.

I really enjoyed being able to have Charlotte with me while I was training, and not having to put her
into a crèche or have her minded………it was fun for both of us.

What goals have you achieved?

My fitness has improved and I actually enjoy being outside and exercising now.   From not being able to run, I have increased to 3/4 run, 1/4 walk, and have increased my strength.

What types of sessions do you participate in?

Groups – Mums and Bubs although my ‘bub’ is now at school, so mainly a night group now. I have done a vitality challenge and a boxing course and enjoyed them both.

Is there anything in particular that has helped you reach your goals?

Encouragement and motivation, in particular from Bec.  The warm smiles, friendship and positive outlook, from Bec, Heidi and all the team.

What are your goals for the future?

To continue to increase my fitness, somehow make hills and stairs easier (!), and to lose the cm that have crept back on!

Any advice for people thinking of starting a health and fitness program?

This is the place to be!
