How long have you been a client of JUMP START?

Almost 2 years.

Why did you originally start?

I joined with my husband Ian as a buddy partner, both of us wanted to change our lifestyle from being too busy at work and pretty lazy at home. I also wanted to help Ian give up smoking.

What do you enjoy best about JUMP START?

Outdoor sessions, fabulous variety, the great Jump Start team and our friendly and dedicated personal trainer Deb

What goals have you achieved?

A sustained and regular exercise habit, toned and fit body, better eating habits (and yes, Ian stopped smoking ages ago).

What types of sessions do you participate in?

Jump Start Buddy session each week. Ian and I also have another session for at least one hour a week together over the weekend.

Is there anything in particular that has helped you reach your goals?

Turning up to the Jump Start session each week and following Deb’s instructions, having the second session each week with Ian, and having their ongoing support.

What are your goals for the future?

Maintaining the level we’ve reached on an ongoing basis and doing even more regular outdoor activities.

Any advice for people thinking of starting a health and fitness program?

Highly recommend it and the Jump Start team, it’s hard work but stick to the regularity and the holistic rewards are great!!
