How long have you been a client of JUMP START?
18 months.
Why did you originally start?
I was in a rut that didn’t include regular exercise and I
knew I needed help to get moving and into a routine.
I had driven past Jump Start for years but had never
called in. My only regret is not starting sooner. Once
you make exercise part of your routine it becomes so
much easier.
What do you enjoy best about JUMP START?
Jump Start is great because it is local and outdoors. The locations change week to week, the trainers are great fun and make an effort to make the sessions different every session. It’s also a great opportunity to meet other locals.
What goals have you achieved?
I am fitter, stronger and feel better about how I look. I have less lower back problems and I have a lot more energy.
What types of sessions do you participate in?
Every week I do a Fit 2 Box session, a small group circuit, and the outdoor yoga.
Is there anything in particular that has helped you reach your goals?
Participating in the Silly Season Challenge prior to Xmas was a great boost to losing weight and a timely reminder that we are what we eat!
Also if I am about to put some ‘naughty’ food in my mouth, I do think about whether or not Heidi would approve!!!! It doesn’t always stop me but at least it makes me think about it!!!!!
What are your goals for the future?
To improve and maintain my fitness, lose some more weight and continue to tone up!
