“The Fit 2 Box classes have been an awesome way to increase my all round fitness level, burn some body fat, along with touching up on my coordination skills. Oh and I forgot to mention its been a whole heap of fun! I have really enjoyed being outdoors in the group environment, and boxing with a partner gives you the motivation to keep going through some of the tougher routines. I will always prioritise this 60mins into my week, as the Jump Start instructors are able to design the program for all fitness levels, and I feel terrific for the entire day.” David Kent, 38yrs, IT consultant, Mosman.

Do I need boxing experience?
Only the basics are necessary for Fit 2 Box. If you do not have basic skills, we recommend you do a couple of one-on-one sessions with our 'Fit 2 Box' instructor.
Are the sessions tailored for beginners, intermediate or advanced clients?
Sessions will be suitable for all levels. Options will be given wherever possible to extend those who are quite fit, and ease down for those who need less intensity.
"Linda obviously has a passion for fitness, it shows in her encouragement to the Wednesday evening Fit2Box class. Each week she motivates us to get moving, coming up with punch combinations designed to make us think as we move and use a variety of muscle groups. And even though we're there to improve our fitness, Linda takes time to get to know each of us individually and her tactic of having us switch boxing partners throughout the session means we also get to know our group members and have a bit of a laugh sometimes!" Clare Clarke, 34yrs, Travel Agent, Cammeray.

“I’m so pleased I started boxing. I was very apprehensive about starting Manual’s boxing group. Doing a bit of boxing in the normal group sessions at Jump Start made my think that I could never sustain a full hour of boxing. But I wanted to build more variety into my fitness routine. So I gave it a go and found that boxing gives you of a great cardio workout, that I think balances lower body workouts. I have really noticed an improvement in my upper body strength and tone. Manual makes sure that each session is varied and if you are interested, he explains the particular benefits of each move. I hope I never have to defend myself, but Manual assures me that I would be able to!” Trish G, Business Strategy Manager, Wollstonecraft.
