Are the sessions tailored for beginners, intermediate or advanced clients?

Sessions are suitable for beginners and intermediate fitness levels.  Clients who do not feel quite fit enough to join the ‘Run 4 Fun’ Club, can get the cardio grounding from this program, and then advance on to it later.

"I started attending the Walk 2 Trot sessions about 15 months ago.  What attracted me initially was the fact that the word "run" was not in the title, as I was very unfit at the time, and did not see myself as ever being able to - or wanting to - run.

Within a few weeks my fitness levels started to build to the point where I was "trotting" comfortably, and as the months have gone by, what I am able to do

has continually improved.  Maggie manages the varying fitness levels in the group very well so that we can all work at our current level of fitness. Each week is something slightly different, so it is always entertaining.

The session enables me to do 45 minutes of exercise by first thing Monday morning - a great way to start your week."

Karyn Johnson, 38yrs, Consultant, Crows Nest

"I have a history of starting and stopping exercise my whole life. I have now been participating in Walk-2-Trot (and Fit-2-Box) for more than a
year. The program and the people participating make it easy and encourage me to stick to it. My fitness level, and overall well-being, have improved dramatically. The icing on the cake with Walk-2-Trot is Maggie, she is such an inspiration. She is a bundle of energy and joy, with a figure women half her age would be happy to have! If I can maintain my fitness to be anything like Maggie over the coming years I'll be a very happy woman."

Jillian Maclean, 46yrs, IT Consultant, Crows Nest

“I knew that I wasn’t fit enough to join a running club, but also needed the challenge of doing more than just walking.

The Jump Start ‘Walk 2 Trot’ club has been the perfect compromise, and apart from feeling fitter and more toned,

I just love the fact that I have done something for myself first thing on a Monday morning.

It really sets me up for the whole week.”

Penny Truelove, 48yrs, Mother of 2, Neutral Bay

What if I don’t feel quite fit enough for this club?

This is the ideal course for beginners who want to start trotting.
